It’s such a wonderful feeling when you get asked to do a commission. To produce a painting for a customer based on a piece they have seen on the website.

As an artist creating a piece to suit the needs of others is part of good customer service. Being able to adapt is part of the creative challenge and a rewarding one at that.

Knowing a painting I have created is hanging in someone’s home and being appreciated and loved makes it all worth while.

I love the whole process too, interacting with people. Commissions are a nice way to know your audience and get tips for future work.
